Balfour Beatty, Fluor Corp. team up for Oak Hill Pkwy. project

​AUSTIN – A joint venture between Balfour Beatty and Fluor Corporation is developing the Oak Hill Parkway infrastructure project. 

The project will ease the congestion at the intersection of US 290 and SH 71 by widening general-purpose lanes from two to three, adding three frontage-road lanes in each direction, and building an overpass and direct-connect flyovers.  

The project will also include bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, cross-street intersection improvements, ​​U-turn lanes, upstream and storm water detention, and water quality treatment ponds.

Construction will begin in early 2021.
