WalletHub: El Paso best in Texas for renters
WASHINGTON – El Paso is the ninth-best city for renters nationwide and the best in Texas, according to a WalletHub study.
The Far West Texas city ranks 34th in quality of life and 36th in rental market affordability.
Of all 182 cities analyzed, Laredo has the lowest cost of living.
Other Texas cities that landed in the top 50 overall rankings include No. 19 Plano, No. 33 Austin, No. 40 Grand Prairie, and No. 43 Amarillo.
WalletHub's top-five cities for renters are:
Scottsdale, Ariz.;
Overland Park, Kan.;
Bismarck, N.D.;
Gilbert, Ariz.; and
Lincoln, Neb.
