Recycling center opens in Plano

PLANO – Republic Services Inc. recently opened its new 77,000-sf Next-Gen recycling facility and learning center.  

The facility can process 350 tons of recyclable material per day. It also has an interactive recycling education center.

It will serve more than 510,000 residents and 2,500 commercial customers in North Texas​.

An automated, touch-screen-controlled system and tablet-based capabilities allow for real-time systems management and monitoring, data acquisition, and remote access from anywhere in the world.​​
