Compass Academy points toward major expansion

​​ODESSA – Compass Academy Charter School is expanding from 13 to 19 acres at 5530 Billy Hext Rd.

The $16 million, 59,000-sf first phase will include a gymnasium, a cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating space, and fine arts and athletic suites. 

Work will start by the end of the current school year and be complete by June 2020.

The next phase will add a 120,000-sf junior high and high school building.

Compass will expand by 120 students a year.​
