The data will display actual historical counts as well as projected counts, which are based on the last published traffic count, local area trend data, and up-to-date demographic information.

Impact of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on Commercial Real Estate

The IRS and Treasury Department continue working to implement the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act reform bill through the regulatory process. Two sections impact commercial real estate: the Section 199A 20% Business Interest Deduction and the Qualified Opportunity Zones program. In Q3 2018, investment sales were up, sales volume rose by 1.6 percent on a yearly basis, and cap rates moved sideways. Prices grew 1.4 percent year over year. Leasing activity trended upward, as vacancies experienced upward pressure.
