WeWork at 609 Main
HOUSTON – Coworking giant WeWork has leased 56,000 sf in Hines’ 609 Main at Texas tower.
The company will occupy the 25th and 26th floors of the 48-story tower that will open later this year.
The buildout of the space had an estimated cost of $5.1 million, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Employees working out of the new WeWork space will receive 24/7 building access, a 7,000-sf high-performance fitness center, and invitations to community events and business services.
Hines was represented by Colvill Office Properties during lease negotiations. WeWork was represented by Savills Commercial Real Estate.
