78-unit gated community planned for The Heights

​​HOUSTON – David Weekley Homes has purchased 6.1 acres near the Houston Farmers Market on the east side of The Heights for a new residential development.  

Phase one will include a 78-unit gated community on 4.81 acres at 2100 Airline Dr., which currently houses a mobile home park.

The deal took two years to close due to clearing Airline Dr. of nearly 35 homes. Also, the park’s interior road, Nadine St., had to be legally abandoned.
