San Jac coming to Generation Park
HOUSTON – San Jacinto College has broken ground on its new 57-acre campus in the 4,000-acre Generation Park at W. Lake Houston Pkwy. and Lockwood Rd.
Phase one will consist of a 51,000-sf building with classroom, lab, and computer lab space. It is expected to open next fall.
The two-story building will cost between $21 million and $23 million.
Ultimately, the campus plans to have about nine buildings, including a university center.
San Jacinto bought the site in 2015 for $10 million. The college offers two-year associate degrees.
