Ikea purchases land in North Houston industrial park

​​​​​HOUSTON – Ikea has purchased 117.41 acres in Generation Park from McCord Development.

​The deal closed on Nov. 6. 

Ikea also bought an additional 26 acres in Generation Park that will be used for utility easements.

The land is part of a broader 487.44-acre tract that has access to a Union Pacific rail line. ​​​​
