Collin County hospital embarks on $68M expansion

​​ALLEN – Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen broke ground on a $68 million expansion that will roughly double its size by 2020.

The facility is on 35 acres at the corner of North Central Expy. and Exchange Pkwy.

The three-story addition will give the Collin County hospital a new tower with capacity for 75 new medical and surgical beds. 

It also will have two additional operating suites and a second cardiac catheterization lab. Plans also call for a new pharmacy, lab, kitchen and dining area, and conference space.

The project will add more than 108,000 sf of space to the hospital, which opened in 2000.
