New HQ for College Station police

​​COLLEGE STATION – Work has started on a new 74,641-sf police headquarters building.

It will sit on 12 acres at the southeast corner of Krenek Tap Rd. and Dartmouth St.

Once the police department moves, the city will renovate the old headquarters on Texas Ave. to house other city departments.

The project has a maximum construction budget of $24.8 million and a total budget of $29.5 million.

Vaughn Construction is building the property.
